Happy Father’s Day to everyone reading this ❤️

Today my thoughts go out to all the fathers who won’t get to see their children today — not because of distance or circumstance, but because they sadly died by su***de. And also to all the sons and daughters who won’t get to spend today with their dad, because su***de stole him from you too.

This is such a painful reality, and it never should be. I want to say: please don’t become one of these statistics. If you are struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or carrying more than you can bear — it is absolutely okay to talk.

You are not weak for speaking up; you are brave. And you do not have to go through it alone.

That’s why I want to tell you about Andy’s Man Club — a safe, free, non-judgmental space just for men. No fees, no referral, no sign-up. Just turn up, sit with other men, and talk or listen — whatever you need. Their motto says it all: “It’s okay to talk.”

There is help, there is hope, and things can get better. Reach out, speak up, and stay here for your kids, your family, and yourself.

Happy Father’s Day to every dad fighting in silence — you matter, and you are loved.

At Andys Man Club we ask 5 questions to encourage our attendees to get things off their chest. The first 3 are the same every week:

1. How's your week been?
2. What's been the highlight of your week?
3. Is there anything you'd like to get off your chest?

Question 4 and 5 change every week. 4 is a thought provoking question. 5 is a light hearted question.

An example:

WHERE IS YOUR HAPPY PLACE AND WHY? ... 👌

This is amazing,

We’re a team from Exeter Aerospace taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge, but this is about far more than just climbing mountains.

We’re raising money for men’s mental health because it’s something that affects so many people often quietly and behind the scenes. In male-dominated environments like ours, it’s all too common for people to keep things to themselves, push through, and not speak up when they’re struggling.

At Exeter Aerospace, there’s a strong focus on people, teamwork, and well being. This challenge reflects those values looking out for one another, supporting each other, and creating an environment where it’s okay to talk.

A few of us within the team have experienced our own challenges with mental health, from anxiety and self-doubt to some very difficult moments. Opening up and talking has made a huge difference and it’s shown just how important it is to have support and safe spaces where people can be heard without judgement.

Since starting this challenge, we’ve already seen more conversations happening, with colleagues opening up and supporting each other in ways that might not have happened before. That alone shows how important this is.

We’re supporting Andy’s Man Club because of the incredible work they do in creating spaces for men to talk openly and honestly. Their message is simple but powerful, it’s okay to talk.

If taking on this challenge helps raise awareness, encourages even one person to open up, or supports someone through a difficult time, then it’s worth every step.

Here is your post perfectly polished and ready to share 🩵

✨ As Volunteers’ Week comes to an end… ✨

I just want to say a MASSIVE thank you and huge well done to the entire team at Andy's Man Club South and Andy's Man Club North for absolutely everything you do to make sure men in Exeter know that It’s Okay To Talk. 💙

Every single one of you is an absolute credit to Andy's Man Club. Week in, week out, you selflessly give up your time every single Monday evening to open those doors, create that vital safe space, and stand alongside men who may be struggling more than they let on. You should all be incredibly proud of the real, life-changing difference you make. You truly are heroes in our community. 🤝👏

Tonight was extra special, as we were deeply honoured to accept a Volunteer Award from Wonford Community Centre and the whole Wonford community – and far beyond! 🏆 This recognition does not belong to just a few; it belongs to every facilitator, volunteer, and supporter who helps keep our doors open each and every week. This is your achievement.

A huge, heartfelt thank you must go to Wonford Community Centre. Without your continued support, your encouragement, and your belief in exactly what we stand for, we simply would not be able to provide this vital service to the men of Exeter. Your commitment to supporting local groups and strengthening our community creates the opportunities for organisations like ours to make a real difference where it counts most.

The hard work that goes on behind the scenes here often goes unnoticed, but it leaves a lasting impact on countless lives. By backing community initiatives, providing opportunities for connection, and helping groups like Andy's Man Club thrive, you play a massive role in bringing people together and improving wellbeing for everyone. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do and so proud to work alongside such a dedicated, caring community hub. 🤍

📢 For anyone who may need us:
Remember that Andy's Man Club Exeter meets every Monday at 7pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
