Sharing is caring! Bring and swap plants and seedlings with Exeter Seed Bank. We will be at Exeter Respect Festival with a Seedling & Plant Share Tent and we’d really love a few more plants to help fill the tables!
If you’ve got spare seedlings, cuttings, herbs, houseplants, divided bits from the garden, or random tomato plants that appeared out of nowhere please bring them along for swapping and sharing.

Join us for a craft of seed saving workshop. Saturday 2nd May 2-4 at Exeter Phoenix. These 15 germination tests should be ready on the day and we will prepare another lot together. We get lots of seeds donated for the seed swap and don’t have time to do germination tests. Join us for a hands on workshop all about saving your own seeds for future growing seasons. We will cover the easy wins: crops that don’t cross pollinate easily and can be saved from just a few plants including French beans, peas, tomatoes and lettuce.
Book on Exeter phoenix website, a few spots left.

The tomatoes are a heirloom variety from , ‘A short sturdy bush about 1ft tall that is heavily laden with round red cherry tomatoes’, great for a windowsill indoors. Eat some and save some. There are instructions on how to save seeds from tomatoes on the Real Seeds and Vital seeds websites. You can also visit DIYseeds website.
Let’s increase the diversity and resilience of our seeds by learning to grow and save them. We can share knowledge and learn together.
We are running a basic seed saving workshop at the Phoenix arts Center on the 2nd May 2-4 come and join us. We are focusing on self pollinating, open pollinated seed to get you started.
