Why? (As if we have to justify this but here goes)

✏️ I LOVE drawing, I get to use the skill I’m good at and enjoy to help you. What a blinking privilege that is!

✏️ I like the challenge of drawing even when it feels hard because the satisfaction which comes from overcoming a challenging thing is the best feeling.

✏️ I would be soooo bored if my job involved pressing a button and getting tech to do it for me.

These are the ‘selfish’ reasons I draw and design myself, but of course the upshot for you is:

✏️ Daft goats and revelations 🐐

My six month old loves picture books 📚

I picked up ‘The Goggle Eyed Goats’ from the library last week and realised the style has an affinity with my own colourful daft goat illustration I made a couple of years ago 🐐✍️

🤔 Only last year did I really realise my style suits the kids market alongside the food and other creative sectors. Hello the conundrum of niching (oof that requires another post or 10).

Seeing these illustrations and all the amazing children’s picture books has really inspired me to keep creating fun subjects in bright colours 🌈

People often message me saying, ‘I saw this bright thing and thought of you’ 💭

Or, ‘your post today brightened up my feed’ 🤩

I’ll keep creating as long as it keeps bringing joy to me, you and our kids 🧡

Last week at I met some of the team at

They had a spin the wheel and I won a carton of their Rich Yolk eggs! Yas!🥚🤗

and I got chatting to the lovely Rio who not only gave us some extra goodies (inc an egg themed notebook which is proudly on my desk) but who was genuinely fun and warm to chat with.

We agreed spin the wheel was a great addition to their pitch space👌🏼

On Friday, armed with my prize, I made fried eggs on toast for me, my partner and my Mum, to which my Mum exclaimed I LOVE St. Ewe Eggs, to which I told her how I’d come to be in possession of my eggs 🍳

Now imagine all the other conversations people were having about their interactions and experiences with St Ewe and all the other food brands at the trade show that day 🗣️

Word of mouth about fun, genuine and memorable brand experiences count more than anything 👏
