This looks good!😁

Come along to the Food Rescue Cook & Eat session at the St. Thomas Food Hub on Tuesday 26th November to find out more about how to cut food waste as Love Food CIC gets creative with what is in the Community Fridge that day in a Ready, Steady, Cook style session.

Open to all and free to attend but spaces are limited so booking is essential (please only book if you know you will be attending).

So, after 2.5 happy years based at Exeter Library, the fridge project is now entering a new phase as the current funding stream is coming to an end shortly. Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund for everything they have provided up to now.πŸ’š

With a view to the fridge continuing to thrive and develop, we are delighted to share that St Sidwell's Community Centre will be taking over the project and the fridge will be moving there next week. πŸ™

The fridge will be running much the same as usual thanks to our fab volunteers who, where possible, will be moving with the project. The main difference initially will be that we won't be open on weekends at all as we will be open when the community centre is open.

Our last collection for the fridge at the library will be Tuesday morning (always dependent on the stores having surplus food however!) and we will re-open at St Sidwell's on Wednesday. 🍏🍎

Thanks so much to Exeter Library Libraries Unlimited staff for being great hosts and to everyone who has used the fridge and made it such a successful and worthwhile project. We couldn't have done it without you! πŸ™Œ
