📢 A Quick Update for our Droitwich Shoppers

Following our announcement last night regarding the difficult decision to close our Evesham market, we’ve had a few messages today and just want to clear up any confusion right away.

We want to reassure everyone that Droitwich Market is continuing to run as normal. 💙💛
While Evesham has unfortunately had to close due to it no longer being viable for us to run, our Friday market in Droitwich is completely unaffected and will be in Victoria Square every single week just like usual.

We are incredibly grateful for the support this community shows our independent traders, and we look forward to seeing you all under the blue and yellow gazebos this Friday.

🚨 Important Announcement Regarding Evesham Market 🚨

It is with a very heavy heart that we are announcing that Bluebell Events will no longer be running the Evesham Market.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one we did not take lightly. We took on this market with the absolute intention of building a thriving community hub. We've held the market for the last four years, poured our hearts, time, and money into trying to recruit new traders and boost footfall.

Unfortunately, despite our very best efforts, trader numbers have dwindled with the older traders starting to retire and new uptake remaining criticality low or traders not finding enough customers for their products. Every single market we now run incurs significant fixed costs, and because the income hasn't covered the overheads, we have been losing money week after week. It is simply no longer affordable or financially viable for us to continue subsidizing the market out of pocket.

To our Evesham Traders & Visitors:

We want to say a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to the wonderful traders who stuck by us, and to the members of the public who came out to support us. We truly appreciate your loyalty and hard work.

This is not the end for Bluebell Events!🌟

While Evesham hasn't worked out, Bluebell Events is still very much open and going strong.

We are shifting our full energy into our other markets and events, which are unaffected by this decision. We would love to see our traders and visitors join us at our other locations!

We are so sorry to have to bring you some disappointing news this morning, but unfortunately, due to the high winds forecast today, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel today's Evesham Market (Saturday). 💨🛑

Safety is always our absolute priority. With the strong wind gusts, it simply isn't safe for us to put up our signature blue and yellow gazebos, or for our wonderful traders to safely display their stock.

We are incredibly sorry for the inconvenience this causes to all of our lovely regular customers who were planning a trip down to the High Street today, as well as to our hard-working independent traders.
We hate having to cancel, but we must keep everyone safe!
