On Tuesday service users from Formont set off for short trip to New Options.
SY forgot his steering wheel but at least we had M on board driving our bus🤗

Today Formont hosted yet another fabulous Christmas Party. Staff and clients enjoyed delicious food 🥘 and great music. Everyone was in high spirits, dancing and laughing 😆 ehh.
After we filled our bellies and got tired with dancing the raffle draw took place 🙂 congratulations to all our winners!

Formont Staff decided to take the Service Users to the Theatre to watch "Christmas Memories". They all enjoyed the moment with a Christmas touch in their hearts!

We spent many lovely Thursdays listening to stories, music and dancing together. Thank you Formont for so much learning and laughter.
Today is my last day in Formont, I have decided to focus on my growing career as a Therapist which is going really well, also because of the experience I had working with IWE. Thanks to all staff and the wonderful clients and parents. I leave a piece of my heart with you here. 💕. Lots of love. Ruth

The A team went on a trip to Southend-on-sea 😁

This brilliant charity makes Tall Ship Sailing accessible to anyone whether in a wheelchair, blind, deaf or a hundred years old (honestly!) is in danger of folding due to some unforeseen circumstances. They're trying to raise a million pounds by Friday and if they don't make it all money donated will, of course, be refunded to the donors.

This may not be for you at all but if you do know of anyone with a connection to/interest in sailing, disability, adventure, inclusivity etc then please forward it on to them.

Emergency Appeal At a meeting on June 27th 2019, the Trustees resolved that we need to launch an emergency rescue fundraising effort to address our very serious financial challenges and to provide the working capital now needed to continue our activities.

We are helping the Venezuelan Charity “Lazos de amor” collecting children clothes in good condition and shipping them to their base in Venezuela for them to be distributed in hospitals, orphanages and privately to families in need. Two months ago, we have successfully raised to send 70 kg of clothes which have been distributed all over the country. As many of you know, Venezuelan people are struggling to survive with an economic collapse, the highest levels of criminality in the world and the highest inflation rate projected to reach 10.000.000% this year. We are working together to help the children how are the most vulnerable victims of this. If you want to donate fresh summer clothes or you can help to pay for the shipment, we will really appreciate and will keep donors updated to make sure items reach their destination.
