The latest edition of the super The Elyi Magazine was on our welcome desk this morning for our Soham Sing! Together session - lots of copies distributed to help spread the word about all that goes on in our local communities! 💙💙

Delighted and so grateful that Sing! Choirs will be singing to raise funds for us tomorrow! Hope you all have an amazing time! 🎶💙

We are really excited to be singing at Visit Ely’s Ely EEL Day Jubilee Gardens - you'll find us there from 11.45am - 12.20pm! So do come along and here us sing lots of your favourite songs!

We will then be making our way to Ely Markets and singing outside Boots from 1.30 - 2.15pm whilst also raising money for All In Sound, a local charity that sings with those living with dementia and their care partners.

So two great opportunities to come along and say hello and even see what we are all about if you are thinking of joining us too!

8 years ago today!! 🤩

It is 8 years to the day that we held our first ever Sing! Together session in Ely for those living with dementia, memory loss and their care partner!

Amazing to think that we have kept singing (for most weeks of the year and through a pandemic!) for all that time, and we are still going strong, and now have a vibrant group also in Soham too that has been singing for over 2 years!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way - we continually have to fundraise to keep this group going, as there is clearly a demand in our local community for this group as it keeps growing.

A day to celebrate! Including funding we receive through the Power of Music Fund, and also that one of our lovely volunteers is a Social Prescriber too who came along to one of our sessions, loved it so much, they now volunteer on their day off! 💙

Today I started the day off by giving a Careers Talk to inspire the future generation!

Focussing specifically on careers in music, this was a talk for 6th form students in Cambridge - always great to do this and reflect back on the journey so far!

Love the questions they ask as well showing genuine interest - and love that I can answer them too! I focussed quite a lot on asking questions and being curious ….. I still do it, so so important! 🥰
