Orchard Rise a Equestrian is a small privately run yard in Ely. We offer competition, schooling & holiday livery, freelance riding & arena hire.
Rhea Macleod is a young event rider, based in Cambridgeshire, who has competed up to 2* level. Having worked on a number of different event yards for the past six years she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience with a wide variety of horses and ponies. please get in contact for references. I’ve been really enjoying having a few different faces on the yard again over the last few weeks 🥰
Over the next few months we will be offering short or long term holiday/field livery, so if you’re going on a summer holiday and want your four legged friends to enjoy some down time while having the peace of mind that they are being looked after with 5* care, please do get in touch. Horse walker and some lunging available, but unfortunately no riding at the moment 😊

Finty and Fred at Little Downham last weekend. These two boys couldn’t be more different, but they are both great fun and put the biggest smile on my face 😊 I’m grateful to both of them for really reignited my love for eventing ❤️

I'm very lucky that I get to do a job that I love and for the entire year we have been incredibly busy with a variety of different horses.
Currently with eleven horses on the yard in work, along with a few others and fading daylight hours it simply wouldn't be possible without Nick's help. Especially on weekends like this one where he has given up his days off to help bring in, tack up, un tack, wash off, swap horses over and even to nanny me out hacking on a baby this morning, as well as doing numerous yard jobs too 🥰
I’ve really enjoyed having Poppy on the yard and seeing her improvement and get more confident in her work too 🥰
