We at The Coffee Lab are looking for an energetic, reliable, and friendly individual to join our fast-paced environment!

Whether you are a seasoned barista or a hospitality newcomer with a passion for coffee, we may have a place for you!

The roles required are:
Kitchen services- food prep and handling kitchen orders.
Front of house - taking orders at the till, serving customers, taking out food and beverages.
Preparing drinks - brewing coffee and tea, making a variety of hot and cold beverages.

Skills to note:
Previous experience with espresso machines and customer service is preferred; however, not required - training will be provided.

Flexibility is key at our cafe, with shifts available throughout the week and weekends too!

☕️ Quick Update for Today!

Hey everyone! Just a heads-up that we’re starting our day a little later than usual.

We will be opening at 10:00 AM today instead of our normal 9:00 AM.

We are so sorry for the short notice and any hiccups this causes in your morning routine! We’ll be ready to sling those lattes and serve up breakfast the second the doors open at 10:00.

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up that our kitchen is currently "under construction." We’ve got some essential works taking place, which means we won't be able to serve food for the time being.

☕️ The coffee machine is still on! Please do pop in for a brew, a cold drink, or a chat while we wait for the dust to settle.

Two members of staff (27- 40 hours per week)

The roles required are:
Kitchen services- food prep and handling kitchen orders.
Front of house - taking orders at the till, serving customers, taking out food and beverages.
Preparing drinks - brewing coffee and tea, making a variety of hot and cold beverages.

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone for your patience over the last week. The Aberdeenshire weather certainly kept us on our toes, but we are happy to say that we are returning to our usual opening hours starting tomorrow! ☕️🥧

We’ve missed the full buzz of the cafe, so come on in, grab a seat, and let us warm you up with your favorites.

The weather in Ellon is definitely "questionable" today with more snow on the way. To save anyone from being stranded by the buses or the slush, we are sticking to our 10am–3pm hours for the rest of the week (Thursday & Friday).

The northeast wind is biting today! Because the weather is questionable and the buses are... well, you know... we’re tweaking our times so nobody gets stranded in the cold.

10:00 AM: Doors open (and the heating is cranked up)

2:30 PM: Last food orders!

3:00 PM: We’re locking up.

❄️ We Are Reopening Today!
After the recent heavy snowfall, we are happy to announce that we will be reopening our doors today, January 6th. Our team has been working hard to clear the paths, but please take extra care when traveling and entering the premises.
