Check out my video featuring Edinburgh's Union Canal and Cramond Island on YouTube. Cramond Island is a tidal island located in the Firth of Forth near Edinburgh. Famous for its dramatic causeway that vanishes underwater with every high tide, the 19-acre island is accessible to walkers for a limited window at low tide, featuring scenic views and abandoned WWII fortifications.
I am currently training for the St Cuthbert's Way Ultra. And this was the perfect place to visit with their being a similar larger scale causeway to Holy Island.
ST CUTHBERT'S WAY ULTRA | Week 7 | A mini race against the tide to Cramond Island! My new training series for the St Cuthbert's Way Ultra in July. A weekly training diary, plus thoughts and plans for running my first 100km race. Come along ...
