The Celtic seasonal holiday Imbolc marks the point on the wheel of the year in the middle of Winter Solstice (Yule) and the Spring Equinox (Ostara). It is a festival of light, renewal and purification. It is likely where the idea of 'Spring cleaning' came from, to prepare your home and heart for new growth.
What are you looking forward to in the upcoming year, now that the days are getting longer and warmer?
We have many pieces of jewellery which represent the four seasons, so integral to the philosophy and rituals of the ancient celts.

How much do you know about the Celtic Wheel of the Year?
The Celts marked the beginning and middle of each season with 8 different holidays called 'Sabbats', each with their own traditions, rituals and meanings.
Today is Yule, from which it is said that we derive many of our modern day Christmas traditions.
Yule marks the darkest and longest night of the year.
Evergreen plants and trees were used as reminders to endure the harsh cold and dark of the winter, and fires were lit to symbolise the return of the sun, and brighter days.
Whatever holidays, celebrations or traditions you like to participate in at this time of year, we wish you all warmth, joy and good times.
