Something not so old... Sticking with the Aberdeen Art Gallery post we were commissioned to build a new shop space on the top floor a few years back. A lovely project to work on using a range of materials and colours to create a modular retail space for the temporary exhibitions. The pallette and placement are all in fitting with both the architecture and the colours in the space on the top floor. Hat's of to and the AAG crew.

Something old... A snippet of our inaugural work with the wonderful team at Aberdeen Art Gallery circa 2019. An honour to work on this large project as part of the major redevelopment of the AAG. Working closely with both the design team and the client we were lucky enough to help transform imagination to reality many parts of the new space. From furniture and donation boxes to display cases and interactives. The photo's here show a seemingly floating timeline piece spanning 3 walls with compound angles, including small display cases, seamless graphics all protected with a powder coated metal fore edge. It was a challenge to say the least. Nods to , , ,

Something new... Our first installation of the year was a simple but rather large plinth to present works by the Scottish photographic artist Patricia Macdonald in the magnificent entrance hall of The Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh.

This definitely comes under the something old and almost forgotten but was reminded about them when I was clearing out an old harddrive. Theatre Royal in Glasgow for circa 2014ish. Lovely wee cases built into some ventilation columns. Small part of the job but great objects.

A wee walkabout of the very lovely Clydebank Museum we completed in summer 2025. We developed our own lightweight aluminium folded frame system to take the unique resin finished panels developed by Andy King of Venetian Plastering Really enjoyed working on this job with all the fascinating models and rich industrial history.
