OPTIMA has been founded to breakdown the barriers between scientific disciplines and between science and business to create a new generation of scientists with commercial nous and interdiciplinary research at its heart. We offer a 4 year PhD programme where you run your project between two (or more) labs. Your PhD project will be looking at the space for clinical innovation between the physical and life sciences to develop optical imaging techniques to solve fundamental clinical problems.
