Many men think urinary symptoms are simply part of getting older.

They don't have to be. Support and treatment are available, but an enlarged prostate can affect far more than bladder function.

It can change how men socialise, travel, work and spend time with family and friends.

Prostate Scotland has launched a national survey to better understand what it's really like to live with benign prostatic enlargement (BPE) in Scotland. 🩵

By sharing your experience, you'll help improve understanding of BPE and shape future support and services across Scotland.

Take part here: https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/2PDKWCR

If you'd rather share your experiences in a one-to-one telephone interview, please contact: [email protected]

Do you plan journeys around toilets?
Avoid long car trips?
Think twice before going out?
You're not alone.

For many men, an enlarged prostate affects far more than physical symptoms. It can have a real impact on confidence, relationships and everyday life.

Many men gradually start to live a smaller life. 🩵

An enlarged prostate can affect much more than bladder function.
It can change how men socialise, travel, work and spend time with family and friends. Some men stop doing the things they love because they're worried about leaking urine or finding a toilet in time.

If you're living with benign prostatic enlargement (BPE), Prostate Scotland would like to hear about your experience.

Take the 10-15 minute survey 👉 https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/2PDKWCR

Would you be interested in taking part in research?

We are supporting research that involves the University of Glasgow the NHS and Movember to understand more about how men live with prostate cancer in different areas of Scotland.

The project is called PROFOUND-Prostate.

Prostate cancer can have lasting effects on a man’s health and wellbeing. Sometimes these changes happen gradually and can be easy to overlook.

This research aims to empower men to take action to protect their wellbeing through short weekly questionnaires, conversations with a researcher, and personalised signposting,

By taking part, you may learn things that are useful to you personally, you can help other men and also help Prostate Scotland reach those that most need our support.

Information can be found on the flyer below 👇
