A huge thank you to Mandy (Senior Coordinator) and our North East Care Assistants James and Louise for the care, compassion and support they’ve shown during what has been a challenging time for a family.
They’ve been described as attentive, patient, and professional, building genuine trust and a lovely relationship with both the client and their family. It’s especially wonderful to hear that their care has helped improve wellbeing in such a short space of time, what an impact to make.

We’ve also received fantastic feedback about our wider team, with one service user sharing how impressed they are with the care they receive. A special mention to:

We had the pleasure of celebrating a very special birthday last month 💜

Happy 80th Birthday to our wonderful service user, David 🎉

Pictured is David with his four regular carers, Deva, Hazel, Rhema and Paula, who are a fantastic support to him day to day. It’s moments like these that really reflect the wonderful relationships built through care, trust and consistency.

A celebration of success 🎉

Last week, we hosted a conference bringing together representatives from each department to reflect on our achievements and share our plans for the year ahead.

As part of the day, we also took time to recognise some of our Service Managers who have worked tirelessly in recent years to ensure their services continue to deliver the highest standards of care for both our service users and teams.

Congratulations to our FINALISTS ✨💜

Last week we had a fantastic time celebrating our two finalists at the Scottish Care at Home Awards.

A huge well done to our Operations Director (West), Mark, on being shortlisted as a finalist for the Leadership Award, and to our West of Scotland Coordinator, Susan, for making it to the finals of the Positive Impact Award, a fantastic achievement for both and so well deserved!

💭 Sharing his thoughts on the nomination, Mark said:
“Being named a finalist at the Scottish Care Awards is a real honour, but it’s not something I see as an individual achievement. For me, this nomination reflects the incredible dedication, resilience and compassion shown by teams across the West of Scotland over the past three and a half years.
I’ve had the privilege of working alongside truly committed people who go above and beyond every day to support others, often in the most challenging of circumstances. This recognition belongs to all of them just as much as it does to me, and I’m very proud to be part of such an inspiring community.”

It was also a great opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, share ideas, and bring back fresh thinking to continue strengthening the care we provide.

West of Scotland Recognition 🌟

A huge well done to Care Worker Margaret Kane, who received recognition for April for her unwavering commitment to her role. During a particularly difficult time, Margaret provided invaluable help and support to the office team while continuing to ensure that all service users received their care without disruption.

Margaret consistently goes above and beyond and continues to embed the Three C’s in everything she does – delivering care with compassion, commitment and professionalism.
