🐈 RODOS CATS 🧿
A little painting I worked on yesterday using acrylic paint and gold for detailing. This was a first attempt, will probably try again by adding a bit more detail and potentially making the cats a bit bigger.

Love how this bauble turned out, at one point I wanted to scrap it though!
This design is inspiring a collection I am working on for next year where I will be introducing new ceramic products to the shop.
However, this bauble is available to shop now on either my Etsy shop or Folksy shop. Both links are available on my profile.
Let me know what you think!

Now that the Christmas tree is up, I can start showing you the baubles on the tree.
But first, here is a bauble I created for my own tree, which is just so cute!
There are still 9 designs available to purchase on my Etsy shop.

Midnight Blue Rabbit and Florals
One the designs now available on my Etsy shop. This one was inspired by a series of illustrations I did on my iPad focusing on line art. I wanted to practice drawing animals by keeping my shapes and details simple but adding more depth through colours and background detail.
Out of all my cottage core vibe designs, this one is my favourite and it will work so well with a cute pink tree-scape or even for Easter.

I was a bit quiet on here last week as I was getting the final prep sorted, but…
That’s my baubles now available to buy on my Etsy shop!!
There are currently 8 designs available and the plan is to add more each month. This month’s collection is toadstools and woodland nature inspired and some Taylor Swift designs.
My baubles range from £29-49, price is dependent on the complexity of the design and there is only 1 available. If the demand is there, I will open up popular designs as made to order.
Next month’s designs will be further Taylor Swift designs and Halloween!!

How do you paint?
The one thing I always really struggle with…
Is where to paint 🤷♀️
Because usually it depends on a few things, like my mood, the weather and natural lighting.
I have never been one for having a set workstation. My desk in the bedroom has always been uncomfortable for a full days painting, the desk too small, the wrong chair, a dark corner.
But sometimes I feel like not having a set workstation comes with its disadvantages as every time I want to paint I have to set up. Which can be the worst thing for my type of brain, it almost becomes a chore.
I suppose that’s almost part of the adventure of being an artist, experimenting with what works best for you and your creativity.
