We have just completed this paint removal project in Craiglockhart and the client is thrilled with the result. The pointing will all be getting replaced shortly as well as new paint on the windows to complete the makeover.

Moss and algae removal to reduce damage to the stonework and pointing. This was then finished with an application of a HSE approved biocide to delay regrowth and keep the stonework looking great for longer.

On Saturday afternoon we received a call that a local business had been vandalised with paint. By Sunday afternoon it was removed ✅

Using the DOFF system we removed all paint from the stonework, pavers and stairs at this property… and doesn’t the Indian sandstone looking fantastic!

Once the window frames, timber and ironwork are re-painted this week the property will be fully restored.

Paint removal ✅

This sandstone had been repointed with cement and painted, both of which were trapping moisture and causing harm to the stone. Using the DOFF system we gently removed the paint, preparing it for stonemasons to assess any repair works that may need doing.
