EHC, Edinburgh Hebrew Congregation is a welcoming orthodox Jewish community in the heart of Edinburgh It is a unique design and is now Grade B listed.

The Edinburgh Hebrew Congragation Shul building dates from 1932 and was designed by the distinguished Scottish architect James Miller towards the end of his career. The interior was remodelled in 1980 creating a communal hall on the ground floor and retaining the sanctuary in the upper floor. The interior was extensively renovated again in the period 2003/4, with the aid of a grant from the Nation

Jewish students are having a tough time, but Edinburgh and Scotland have benefited enormously from our Jewish chaplains, Rabbi Eliron and Ayala Shabo and we hope you will support this appeal. Introducing one of our artists for the Hanukkah Market— Kimberly Pelland!

Kimberly is inspired by nature in her jewellery creation. Be it trees, flowers, stones, or the ocean, these themes and touches can be found throughout her work. Since she was young she was always excited to see the Judaica at synagogue and was delighted by the collections she saw. Today, she merges her muse of nature with her love of Judaica in her jewellery to create pieces that feel timeless and organic.
