Our research with American Express found that the British love for small business is strong, with 95% of us thinking that small businesses make our local communities, and 68% believing that they boost local economies.

Carried out by Small Business Saturday UK and American Express in summer 2025, the research is based on a survey of 1,000 UK representative adults.
