Trellick

Hey everyone, thought an update would be good.

There's a new Trellick track on the awesome Beat: Cancer v4 compilation (link in comments, you know how it works). It is out now, and there is so much great music on it, 35 tracks in fact, AND money goes to good causes. So yeah, get up on that if you fancy it.

The next actual Trellick album is in progress, but still a long way off. The track that's on the aforementioned compilation will be on it, two further tracks are nearly finished but the others are basically not very far along. It's going to be great eventually though, you'll love it.

Anyway, that's where things are. I'm spending this weekend having fun at Resistanz fest watching a bunch of cool artists do their thing live. Maybe see you there!

It's Bandcamp Friday and I don't have any new music of my own, but I do have some to reccommend! The vibes of EBM and rhythmic noise are the two poles that Trellick falls between conceptually, so here's one of each:

OH LOOK IT'S ME! A hot new Trellick track is coming on the Beat:Cancer compilation that's released this Easter! As well as a lot of other music from a lot of very exciting artists!

You can pre-order the compilation on the B:C website, or pick it up from Bandcamp when it's released and the profits go to good causes as with all Beat: Cancer things! THIS IS PRETTY EXCITING

Trellick is the project of Nick Stefan, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Releasing music since 2020, Trellick makes gritty and idiosyncratic EBM/industrial with a mixture of hardware, software and often harsh vocals.

Somewhere between catharsis and midlife crisis, ranging from introspection to polemic, Trellick combines noisy beats with driving basslines and frank lyrics to build an oeuvre that's political, personal and punishing. This is brutalist body music.

Thanks for supporting Trellick during 2025. Whether you've streamed my music, bought it, listened to it, played it for others or told people about it - your support means a lot.

The next Trellick release will be an album called BANISHING RITUAL. I'd like to say that it will be coming in 2026, but 2027 is probably more likely I suspect. One track is actually finished though, and you'll be able to hear that over the coming months. Watch this space.

Two things - one exciting, one perhaps disappointing for some

Firstly - sets of Trellick stickers will finally be going up on Bandcamp later this week. It's a set of 4 paper stickers (two are 8x8cm and the other two are 14x4cm). Ideal for sticking to your laptop or carefully putting away in the box where you keep two decades of promotional stickers for long-defunct artists, labels and events! So expect a BC mail about this in a day or two.

Will I ship these internationally, even to the US? Sure! (I will totally understand if only UK people are interested given it'll probably cost as much or more for shipping internationally than the stickers themselves)

Secondly - since a couple of people have asked or been interested: sorry, Trellick isn't going to be a live act.

It's something I've thought about and it is genuinely heartwarming that some people have been interested in seeing that, but it's not going to happen. If you're curious as to why, I'll drop an explanation in a comment.

People picking up Muscle EBM on Bandcamp are cool! amodelofcontrol.com says that it slaps, and that's pretty cool! People streaming it are cool too! The person in Medellin who listened to Trellick recently is also exceptionally cool!

PS: I'm going to Infest Festival this weekend to watch a bunch of great bands and have a good time with friends. Once I'm back home next week, I should be able to put some stickers up on Bandcamp as merch.
