What a marvellous little Sunday 🌝 Finally returned to the exquisite and historic Culross and had a much anticipated lunch The Mercat which really has a stroke of genius! Every inch of it beams with attention to detail, love and atmosphere, the food was utterly scrumptious! Hats off to Laura who has also created The Dundonald which is simply majestic. A true talent and purveyor of exquisite taste, hospitality and style. Hugo has once stayed there already (when he was in my belly). If you haven’t already been, you must absolutely visit this absolute jewel in the fine Kingdom of Fife 💛

I’m so used to you taking pictures of the shoppy shop over the years, but I’m less used to seeing what you do with them afterwards… so it was really lovely that Chris popped in to show us the shot he took once our shutters were down one day and he then took more impromptu shots inside and I really rather love them. Thank you so much I love the reflections, the detail, the mood and the atmosphere you’ve managed to capture, what a great eye you have 📸 Good luck with the photography journey, we are definitely big fans 🙌🏼

Sunday Funday 🌝 Sourcing with a toddler is triple the hard work, lugging it all back on foot and bus was also not for the faint hearted as we left the car at home! I only meant to get “small and sparkling bits” today but alas the vintage gods showered us with some serious potteries and ceramics! Couldn’t resist… find of the day was a Susie Cooper set, couldn’t leave that behind and a very special dog… will show you my haul once I’ve recovered! It was also Hugo’s very first fairground ride, so many firsts and so many silly faces 🤪 x
