The new street food menu at grasslands was actually pretty decent! 😄 We ordered some bao buns, the kids snack shack, wildwood pizza & frickles.

This fuelled us up for the uphill climb to see the giraffes and to visit all the new baby animals ❤️

We spent half our Sunday eating and drinking our way through all the menu’s provided. From dining in their main hall on shared long tables then back down into their cosy bar

The menu is from field to table. They have an organic, regenerative farm on site that focuses on bringing fresh ingredients throughout the seasons. You can choose from a sharing spread menu to à la carte. They also have Sunday roast available ❤️

The grounds of is lovely. It’s the perfect place to go just to get out of the city. They host many events throughout the year and also have a farm shop available online. Definitely recommend having a browse on their website.

I first tried them back when they were based in a supermarket car park in Kirkcaldy and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown since then! They’re now popping up at different markets and venues, so definitely keep an eye on their socials to see where they’ll be next 🙌🏻

We ordered:
• Pork & Prawn Laksa
• Chicken & Prawn Laksa
• Fried Sui Mai
• Chicken Satay Skewers
• Fried Chicken Bao

The laksa broth was packed with flavour. You can choose between egg noodles or rice noodles, and we all went for egg noodles 😍

The sides are a must. The chicken satay skewers and fried sui mai paired perfectly with the laksa and made the whole meal even better.

The fried chicken bao was also so tasty! I loved that they lightly fried the bun too which kept it from going soggy 👌🏻

Honestly such a brilliant spot for comforting flavour packed food ❤️
