🖤 Black & white or colour?
Black & white images:
• Focus on emotion
• Feel timeless
• Strip everything back
Colour images:
• Capture warmth
• Show personality
• Feel vibrant and real
I love a mix of both
Which do you prefer?
🖤 Black & white
🤍 Colour
✨ A bit of both

Coordinating outfits without being ‘matchy’
You don’t need everyone in the same colour…
although I’ll be honest, I love a matching outfit with my family (much to their delight 🤣).
I only seem to get away with it on holiday now.
For photoshoots, I would suggest:
• Choosing 2–3 tones
• Mixing textures (knits, denim, linen)
• Keeping patterns minimal
It keeps photos looking natural, timeless, and relaxed. Perfect for family photos with just enough coordination. 🤎
One of the questions I get asked most is
“What colours should we wear?”
So here’s my simple advice 🤎
🤎 Neutral tones photograph beautifully
Think creams, beige, soft browns, greys, muted pastels.
🤎 Earthy colours work really well
Soft greens, rust, sage, dusty blue.
❌ Try to avoid
• Large logos
• Neon colours
• Very busy patterns
Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.
That always shows in photos 🤎

Photographing my first wedding was exciting, emotional… and yes, a little nerve-wracking.
But once the day started, it reminded me why I love photography so much, real moments, real people, real emotion.
The love these two share for each other was so evident in every look, every touch, every quiet moment.
It was such a privilege to be trusted to capture that for them both.
These quiet black & white moments are some of my favourites.
They tell the story without needing anything extra.
💬 I’d love your input…

My last shoot of 2025 was with this gorgeous group of five friends and their ten amazing children 🤍
The last time they had ALL had a photo together was 10 years ago, as a Christmas group, and they wanted to recreate it.
Now with the beautiful addition of two extra girls, aged 8 and 6 ✨
Friendships like these are so powerful, growing up together, going through life side by side, and now watching families grow.
I’ve known all of these girls since school, so capturing this moment for them meant so much to me.
A truly lovely and meaningful way to end 2025
