We are a group of enthusiastic amateur musicians who enjoy meeting up on alternate Monday evenings Everyone welcome!
We are a group of enthusiastic, amateur musicians who enjoy meeting up to play a variety of music for string ensemble. There is no pressure to practice, no concerts to work towards, just turn up simply for the pleasure of playing live music with other like-minded people! If you fancy joining us, we meet on alternate Monday evenings at Waddington URC 7.30 - 9.45pm.
Apologies for the short notice... Durham String Group meets up again at 7.30pm at Waddington Street URC upstairs in the Wood Room.
Here are the dates for the forthcoming term:

June 22nd (NB This date may change to either the week before or the week after)

I've just signed this petition.
If we really have to have private companies in the NHS then the least they can do is to pay the relevant taxes here and not syphon their gains out of the country.
Stop private companies draining our NHS! I just signed the campaign calling to cap private profits on our NHS!
Durham String Group is enjoying a lovely Easter break.
We will be shortly starting our new term and dates for the next sessions will be published as soon as they are confirmed.

Monday 30th March is the last session of this term for the Durham String Group.
If you can't join us, wipe the dust off your instrument in time for the new term after the Easter break. We hope to see you then - dates will be confirmed as soon as I have them.
We meet at Waddington Street URC upstairs at 7.30pm.

It has been decided to revert to the String Group meeting alternate weeks and so the dates for this term are:
January 19th
February 2nd and 16th
March 2nd, 16th and 30th
All newcomers are welcome to join us.
We meet at Waddington Street URC, using the side entrance on Mowbray Street, 7.30pm start.
