UPDATE - the water supply is now back!
Unfortunately, we are currently without a water supply due to circumstances outside of our control.
At present, we do not have an estimated time for when the water supply will be restored. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as soon as we receive further information.
Please be aware that this may affect some services and appointments. If your appointment is impacted, a member of the team will contact you directly.

β οΈ MEDICINES RECALL β RAMIPRIL 2.5mg CAPSULES β οΈ
The MHRA has issued a recall for a specific batch of Crescent Pharma Ramipril 2.5mg Capsules due to a packaging error.
π If you take Ramipril 2.5mg capsules, please check your pack for:
β’ Manufacturer: Crescent Pharma
β’ Batch number: GR155023
β’ Expiry date: 08/2027
Some packs from this batch may contain Ramipril 10mg capsules instead of 2.5mg capsules.

If the blister strips inside are labelled "Ramipril 2.5mg", you can continue taking your medication as normal.
β If any blister strips are labelled "Ramipril 10mg", do not take the medication. Please contact your pharmacy for advice and a replacement supply.
If you think you may have taken the higher-strength capsules and are experiencing symptoms such as dizziness, feeling lightheaded, fainting or unusual tiredness, please seek medical advice promptly.
If you are unsure, please speak to your pharmacist or contact the surgery.

β οΈ Important Patient Notice β Ramipril Capsules Recall
Some packs of Ramipril 10mg Capsules (Batch Number GR174091) have been recalled as a precaution. These packs may contain 5mg capsules instead of 10mg.
π What you should do:
β’ If you have Ramipril 10mg from this batch, please check your medication.
β’ You can find the batch number and expiry date on the outer carton.
β’ If your pack contains 5mg capsules, contact your pharmacy as soon as possible.
β’ If your pack contains 10mg capsules, no further action is needed.
If youβre unsure, please speak to your pharmacist or GP. You can also bring your medication and leaflet to us or your pharmacy for advice.
βΉοΈ Both strengths are used for conditions like high blood pressure, heart failure, and kidney disease. Any impact from a lower dose is expected to be gradual, not immediate.

β οΈ Medication Recall Notice β Sertraline 100 mg Tablets β οΈ
We have been informed of a precautionary recall affecting Sertraline 100 mg film-coated tablets (Batch Number: V2500425), manufactured by Amarox Limited.
π What you need to do:
If you have been prescribed Sertraline 100 mg tablets, please check the batch number on the side of your medication box.
β’ β
If your tablets are correctly labelled as Sertraline 100 mg, you do not need to take any further action.
β’ β οΈ If your pack contains tablets labelled as Citalopram 40 mg, please contact your pharmacy as soon as possible for advice.
π¨ Important:
If you think you may have taken Citalopram 40 mg tablets from this batch by mistake and are experiencing side effects (such as nausea, headache, sleep changes, or increased anxiety), please seek medical advice urgently.
π Please take your medication box, any remaining tablets, and the information leaflet with you when speaking to your pharmacist or GP.
βΉοΈ Both Sertraline and Citalopram are used to treat depression and anxiety, but they are different medications, and your body may not be used to Citalopram.
If you have any concerns or are unsure, please contact your pharmacy or GP practice for guidance.

π Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) World Awareness Day β 21 April
21 April is Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) World Awareness Day.
AML is a rare but serious blood cancer that can develop quickly, so recognising symptoms matters.
Symptoms can include:
β Tiredness or breathlessness
β Frequent infections
β Unusual bruising or bleeding
β Bone or joint pain
β Pale skin
If something doesnβt feel right, please contact a GP.
Early assessment and support make a difference.
