We had another busy day at Dukeminster Court today. This morning we made rosettes in the cafe and this afternoon we enjoyed chilled Prosecco and fresh sweet strawberries in the cafe and the garden.

⛱️ International Picnic Day ⛱️

Today we enjoyed the beautiful weather with a big picnic in the café and garden. Residents had a wonderful time, enjoying each others company and eating some delicious picnic foods.

This evening, our residents enjoyed watching the England vs Croatia football match together ⚽️. Everyone was fully engaged in the game, and there were plenty of smiles and cheers when England scored twice! The excitement is building as the second half gets underway. Let's see who comes out on top, good luck, England! 🏴⚽️

Everyone has enjoyed the cool refreshments, with some coming back for seconds 🍨☀️

This afternoon, we made authentic Pimm's for everyone to enjoy 🍹. We added orange, lime, lemon, strawberries, fresh mint, and plenty of ice to create the perfect summer refreshment.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed their drinks while reminiscing about old times and sharing fond memories together. A lovely afternoon ☀️🍓🌿

On Saturday we held a birthday party for King Charles lll, everyone had a lovely time reminiscing about the Royal family!

This morning, we had a full house for our Sunday Hymns session. Everyone enjoyed singing along to their favourite hymns, followed by tea and coffee together. It was a wonderful opportunity for residents to socialise, share conversations, and enjoy each other's company.
