We're selling merch at Pride 2026! These designs were made in collaboration with our members to reflect their perspective on identity and diversity 🏳️‍🌈

We'll have a stall up selling totes, t-shirts and post cards!

We have spaces in our Friday afternoon nature-based group! In this group we learn about different parts of our environment, explore the outdoors, find out ways to help our local environment, and keep ourself healthy and aware of nature 🦋

This group is on Friday afternoons from 1-3pm, at Dudhope Castle! Activities include short walks, talks about parts of the environment and nature-themed crafts.

We were at the first Dundee Get Together on Saturday! Everyone who came looked great in their butterfly wings 🦋

The event was a great time, and we had loads of people visiting our food stall too!

This Friday we have our Bowling Stones game for June 🎳

Bowling Stones is an inclusive bowling league for adults (16+) with additional support needs. Teams play from Dundee & surrounding areas. We play once a month, with scores adding up over the year 🏆

This Thursday is our Uppertunity Garden Fair!

Join us for an afternoon of outdoor fun in our gardens at Dudhope Castle 😎 There'll be food, games, nature challenges, home baking and art activities!

Entry is £5, carers go free!

Afternoon groups will not be running, but members who would be attending one are welcome to attend the Garden Fair for no extra cost!

Can you help our community connect with nature?

At Uppertunity, we love inviting different facilitators, groups and skilled people to share what they know with our members.

We’re currently looking for people who could support nature-based sessions, such as:

🌿 Foraging
🐞 Exploring bugs, birds and wildlife
🔨 Eco habitat building
🗑️ Litter picks
🌱 Learning about nature, biodiversity and why it matters

This could be a one-off session, a short block, or a visit to your outdoor space. We’re open to people coming to Uppertunity, or for our members to come out and visit other community spaces too.

Our members are adults with learning disabilities, autism and other barriers, so sessions need to be friendly, accessible and hands-on.

Our front garden is looking lovely, ready for our Garden Fair on the 18th of June!

Remember we have a home baking contest! Bring your entries along on the day to be judged & shared. If you bring something to share, please also bring a list of ingredients and allergens.

We will have be food for sale!

Our exhibition launch was a great time! It was great to see everyone there and take part in some different art activities together. 🎨

Thank you to everyone who came along to support us and see the art on display, and thank you to for hosting us!

If you want to come and see our exhibition, it is running until the 28th of June. Come along and see during CANVAS' regular opening hours!

We’re needing some help for our Nature & History Trail!🌳

Our trail around Dudhope Castle has been made by the community, for the community.

Sadly, we’ve had some damage recently. One of our area signs has been taken off and thrown away, our wooden sword has been taken, and some of the wooden flowers need repaired.

If anyone has the sword, please bring it back (no judgement or questions asked). ⚔

We are also looking for a little support to repair these items before upcoming events, as well as build some more planters. If anyone has spare wood or pallets, or would like to help with repairs, please get in touch.

This trail belongs to the community. Please help us look after it, respect the space, and keep it welcoming for everyone.
