We were back delivering our emotional intelligence and communication workshop at Montrose Community Trust and this time we delivered our session to the fantastic staff there!

We all had a great time, lots of discussions and reflections and it was a really relaxed and enjoyable day.

It was lovely to be surrounded by a team who really care about what they do and the people who work there and also the many people who they support through their different programmes.

We have just wrapped up our Employability and Workplace Readiness workshops through the Sports Employability Programme at Montrose Community Trust ⚽️🏟️

Across our 4 bespoke workshops and coaching, we have looked at topics such as understanding yourself and others, resilience, growth mindset, communicating confidently, AI and goal setting.

Amongst lots of discussions, games, activities and laughs we discovered more about ourselves and each other - improving understanding, collaboration, resilience and preparing for the workplace.

It has been a privilege to deliver these workshops to this amazing group, run by a fantastic organisation that offers so much to the community, and to see the participants grow in confidence as they take their next steps into employment 🏆

Yesterday we delivered a 2 hour taster session at Discover Work Dundee’s Networking and Development Day, bringing together delivery partners from across the city who support people into work, training and development 🚀

The theme of the day was all about collaboration and improving ways of working together, which gave us a great opportunity to share practical tools for understanding different working styles and adapting communication. It was our largest audience yet of around 70 people, and it was great to get experience of delivering from a stage setting! 🎤

We made sure to tailor our scenarios and examples to ensure everyone was able to experience the real value of our workshops – how to adapt your approach to work better with others.

We both had a great time delivering, and the session was really well received with high levels of engagement and participation.

Fantastic Emotional Intelligence and Communication workshop yesterday with the team at MacIntyre Chocolate Systems, now part of Probat, in Arbroath. ⚙️ 🍫

Probat are at the forefront of chocolate processing equipment and a global leader in end to end food processing solutions, and place a high emphasis on their people and culture.

It was a great session where we journeyed through our 6 pillars of emotional intelligence to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the different working and communication styles across different teams. We had lots of discussions and interactive activities throughout the day, and we explored our colour preferences using our profiling tool and team mapping.

My main role at LearnLing involves co-writing, designing and facilitating our interactive workshops and learning programmes which I just love doing! I also enjoy being out and about meeting people, whether in meetings or out at a networking event.

My preferences are a mixture of Red (Extraverted Thinking) and Yellow (Extraverted Feeling).
