🌊 The Ripple Effect in Action

As part of Small Business Week, we have been talking about the ripple effect that happens when people choose to support local businesses.

For us, one of the best examples of this is the Fab First Aid Fund.

Over the years, support from our customers has enabled us to give something back to the communities we serve. Through the Fund, we have been able to support schools, community groups and organisations by providing access to life-saving first aid education that may otherwise have been out of reach.

When a local business chooses FabTraining, the impact doesn't stop with the training course they've booked.

It helps us:
πŸ’œ Deliver Mini Medics sessions to children
πŸ’œ Support community initiatives
πŸ’œ Raise awareness of life-saving skills
πŸ’œ Create opportunities for people to learn first aid who may not otherwise have access

That is the ripple effect at work.

A business invests in training. We invest back into the community. More people gain skills that could one day save a life.

To everyone who has trained with us, recommended us or supported us over the years, thank you. You have helped make every one of those ripples possible.

🌊 Small Business Week: The Ripple Effect

Buying from a small business creates a much bigger impact than many people realise.

It helps:
βœ… Create local jobs
βœ… Support local families
βœ… Keep money in the local economy
βœ… Sponsor community groups and sports teams
βœ… Support local charities and causes

That one decision to "use local" often reaches far beyond the original purchase.

At FabTraining, we are incredibly proud to support local initiatives, community projects and organisations whenever we can because we believe businesses should be part of the communities they serve.

Every small choice creates a ripple.

Thank you for helping us continue creating positive ones. πŸ’œ

Small Business Week: Meet the Humans Behind the Logo

When people think of a business, they often think of a brand, a building or a website.

But behind every small business are real people.

The early mornings. The late nights. The worries. The celebrations. The determination to keep improving and delivering the best possible service.

At FabTraining, we are proud to be a family-run business. Every booking, enquiry, recommendation and referral genuinely matters to us because we are not a faceless corporation. We're local people serving local businesses and communities.

This Small Business Week, we'd love to know...

πŸ‘‰ What's your favourite local business and why?

Let's give some local businesses the recognition they deserve πŸ’œ

Every time you choose to support a local independent business, you are helping to keep money circulating within the local economy and supporting real people, real families and real dreams.

As a family-run business, we are incredibly grateful for the support we have received over the years from our customers, partners and local community. We simply wouldn't be here without you.

Throughout the week we'll be celebrating small business, sharing stories, highlighting the importance of shopping local and encouraging everyone to discover the fantastic independent businesses right on their doorstep.

πŸ’œ Here's to the small businesses making a big difference every day.

What better way to use a training day than investing in skills that could one day save a life?

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of delivering a large-scale First Aid training session for the team at St Anne’s School and Sixth Form College.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. A fantastic venue, a brilliant group of people, and hospitality that was second to none.

One piece of feedback we received summed the day up perfectly:

β€œThe 2 first aid trainers made the course enjoyable and were very knowledgeable. Great course.”

Feedback like that means a lot because our aim has always been the same: not just to deliver a qualification, but to help people feel confident and prepared should they ever need to step in and help.

A huge thank you to everyone at St Anne’s for having us. We hope it is the start of a long and positive working relationship.

If you are planning staff training days for the next academic year, now is a great time to start thinking about First Aid, Mental Health, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and other workplace compliance training.

πŸ“© We would be happy to chat through the options and help build a programme that works for your team.

We have welcomed various members of the Village Care & Support Humber Lmtd team on various courses recently and they have all been an absolutely joy to work with!

This review sums up a mutual appreciation for the participation and enthusiasm shown by the delegates who have attended and given it their all.

Happy Bank holiday weekend everyone!

Break time at Fab is always an important part of the day but today’s hot topic is causing debate...

How do you take your coffee?

🀍 Light and milky
🀎 Somewhere in the middle
πŸ–€ Strong enough to stand the spoon up in it

(obviously number 3 is the right answer)

⛑️ First Aid training should do more than help you gain a certificate.

It should build confidence. Start conversations. Challenge thinking. And prepare people for real situations where knowing what to do matters.

At FabTraining, we focus on making learning practical, relevant and engaging.

βœ… Real-life scenarios
βœ… Hands-on learning
βœ… Experienced trainers with frontline backgrounds
βœ… Industry-specific examples that reflect your workplace
βœ… Friendly, supportive environment where questions are encouraged

Childcare. Offices. Hospitality. Social care. Agriculture. Sport. Construction. Schools.

Different environments. Different risks. Training that reflects the real world.

Because when somebody needs help, confidence matters just as much as knowledge.

Did you know we can also provide kits to complement our range of First Aid and Health & Safety training?

These bleed kits were recently prepared for one of our customers who completed First Aid at Work with the additional +F module, designed for those working in forestry and agriculture.

When severe bleeding happens, having the right equipment available can make all the difference.

At FabTraining, we believe training should reflect the environment you work in. From course content to equipment recommendations, we focus on making sure what you learn is relevant, practical and suited to your industry.

Get in touch to find out how we can help make your training work for the real-world situations your team may face πŸ’œ
