Claire reunites with her long-time collaborator, the legendary Scottish guitarist Jim Mullen, for a truly ‘all-star’ quartet for a ‘one-off’ series of concerts in November 2026.
Joining them are bassist extraordinaire Laurence Cottle and the highly sought-after drummer Ian Thomas. This special reunion brings together four old friends united by their shared love of the Great American Songbook and deep groove. Many will recognise Ian Thomas from his work with Tom Jones, Robben Ford, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler and BB King and Laurence Cottle from his projects with Alan Parsons Project, Brian Eno, Eric Clapton, Seal and Van Morrison, to name but a few.

Berklee graduate and educator Billy Kilson is known as a drummer of the highest caliber; known as such for his ‘revelational’ improvisation and timing, and an undeniable stage presence reminiscent of the great jazz drummers before him.
In addition to being Dave Sanborn’s primary drummer for many years, Billy has also played with Ahmad Jamal, Dianne Reeves, Greg Osby, George Duke, Steps Ahead, Bob James, Marcus Miller and Dave Holland to name but a few.
His fifth and newest album is with another stellar Trio, which includes Geoffrey Keezer on piano and Essiet Essiet on bass and will be heard on international festival and club stages in 2026/27.

Over the years, there have been many gigs I wish I’d been present at..none more so than David Sanborn’s last concert at Ronnie Scott’s in London before he sadly left us. Looking at these photographs makes me proud to say that we represent two of David’s incredible ‘acoustic band’ members in celebrated Grammy award winning pianist Geoffrey Keezer and world renowned celebrated drummer Billy Kilson.
