However much it was a wrench out of bed when the clocks changed last weekend, who else is really enjoying early evening runs in daylight??

Before too long we'll all (hopefully) be enjoying some sunny evening runs, and talking of which we have a perfect one for you!

It may not feature a vulcan bomber at the finish line, but you can still bank on a great atmosphere at the Sandall Beat 3 Mile, 5 Mile and Fun Run

Back for a third year, this race offers a family friendly run, choice of distances, chip timing by Seasons Best Sports Timing and all the character of an ancient woodland.

Entries are open now for this race on Wednesday 8th July 2026.Fun run starts at 6.30pm, 5 mile at 7pm and 3 mile at 7.05pm.

The organisers of a race which saw thousands of people run along the runway at Doncaster Sheffield Airport have issued a warning over a scam Facebook account urging people to send cash for places in next year’s event – which doesn’t currently exist.

Please be aware that the Run the Runway Official 2027 group is NOT in any way affiliated to our race. The Admins of the group have repeatedly stolen our content and though we have reported this to Facebook this is still live.

There is no confirmation whatsoever that there will be a Run the Runway 2027 at this point in time therefore any links to buy entries are fake.
