Our Open Age side welcome Hull Dockers on Saturday afternoon, while several of our junior teams are also in action across the weekend.

🚗 Parking Reminder

Our grass overflow car park is available for all match days and training nights.

Please:
• Do not block the entrance
• Do not block residents' driveways or garages
• Park fully on the grassed areas provided
• Leave space for others and park considerately
• Drive slowly when entering and leaving the site

Thank you for helping us maintain good relationships with our neighbours and ensuring a safe environment for all players, families and visitors.

A huge thank you to SGH Construction Group for their support in improving the access road at Bentley ARLFC.

The condition of the road has been a concern for players, spectators, local residents and visitors for some time, particularly during periods of poor weather.

Thanks to the generosity, time and hard work of the SGH team, the surface has been significantly improved, making access safer and more reliable for everyone using the route.

While this may not be the final long-term solution, it has made a massive difference and will benefit hundreds of people who visit our club every week.

On behalf of everyone at Bentley ARLFC, we’d like to thank SGH Construction Group and their Managing Director for giving back to both the club and the wider Bentley community.

Campsmount Academy

The first girls’ team from Doncaster to reach the National Finals of the Year 7/8 Emerging 9s Competition, finishing an incredible 5th in the country.

We’re also proud that Bentley ARLFC was represented by two of our girls throughout the competition.

Our amazing Year 7/8 girls made it all the way to the finals of the National 9’s Schools Rugby Tournament yesterday, competing against top schools from across the UK! 💪
After playing an incredible SIX matches and battling their way into the final 8 teams, Campsmount finished an outstanding 5th place overall 👏🎉
We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them – their teamwork, determination and passion were outstanding from start to finish! 🖤💛

MATCH REPORT
13/6/26 vs Newsome Panthers @ Home

Bentley entertained 2nd-placed Newsome Panthers at the Rec this week.

The hosts started the stronger, and some slick handling saw Tony Turton finish off a well-worked move in the corner to open the scoring.

Unfortunately, the extras couldn't be added.

Newsome responded almost immediately, capitalising on a lapse in concentration from the Bentley defence to level things up.

That sparked a purple patch for the home side. The ball was moved from one side of the field to the other at pace, creating space for Max Brown to dive over in the corner.

Again, the conversion drifted wide.

Bentley continued to pile on the pressure and were rewarded when Sean Richards powered his way over from close range, dragging three defenders with him in the process. Jack Craswell added the extras.

The next score was arguably the pick of the bunch. Two quick offloads opened up the Panthers defence, and Tom Wigglesworth raced clear to score under the posts. Craswell was again on target with the conversion.

Bentley were full of confidence and looked disappointed to hear the half-time whistle.

HT 20-6

The second half started slowly for Bentley, and the visitors took advantage to reduce the deficit.

The hosts remained composed and soon hit back through Jude Thompson. A powerful burst saw him shrug off two tackles before crashing over for a deserved try, although the conversion sailed wide.

As the game wore on, the lack of interchanges began to take its toll on the Bentley side. Tired legs, coupled with an ever-increasing penalty count, invited Newsome back into the contest and kept the visitors camped on the Bentley line.

To their credit, Newsome never gave up. Their persistence paid off with two late tries, and with both conversions successful, the scores were level once again.

With time almost up, Bentley had one final chance to sn**ch victory. The last play of the game saw a drop-goal attempt sail agonisingly wide of the left-hand post, leaving the hosts to settle for a share of the spoils after a thrilling contest.

In partnership with Doncaster Rugby League and the Holiday Activity & Food (HAF) Programme, we're proud to welcome children aged 6–11 years to enjoy FREE rugby league, multi-sports, games and activities throughout the summer holidays.

A fantastic opportunity for children to stay active, make new friends, learn new skills and have plenty of fun – with food and drink provided each day!
