Last night was a doozy.
I travelled to a gig to shoot 3 amazing bands. Bands 1 & 2, no problem. The headliners however (who kindly arranged the photopass for me) - right at the start of their set, I got jostled in the pit (standard) but unfortunately I knocked something on my camera and when I gathered myself, the camera wouldn't fire. Unfortunately, as I didn't have my glasses on (as I mainly shooting through the viewfinder), I couldn't see what had been changed or check what it could be. Without my glasses, I literally can't see anything close up, and especially in the dark. After a couple of minutes (which felt like hours) I left the pit to try and sort it out. Fortunately, my husband (and his better eyesight) was on hand and eventually, figured it out. Back into the pit I go...only for it to be the last 10 seconds of the third song.

I am gutted this happened. This was a gig I had been looking forward to for months, and I've been shooting this band for 13+ years. Something like this has never happened to me before and I'm taking steps to make sure it doesn't ever happen again. I felt like I had to write this post, firstly to thank the band (you know who you are) for the opportunity and secondly, to apologise for the f**k up.

After feeling like I wanted to quit altogether last night, I'll just put my big girl pants on and get a grip of myself. 🤘🏻

Last gig of 2025, you was a banger!
Edinburgh was mental.
Thanks to my SIDEWINDER brothers for taking me along for the ride.
Massive thanks to all the bands they have let me capture them in 2025. Hopefully catch more next year.

Keep supporting your local scene. Be good to each other. F**k the government.

See ya next year 🤘- CF

Picture this.
It's a cold, dark, December night in the heart of Sheffield.
Four metal bands.
A gathering of metalheads.
What does this equal?
A good f**king night, that's what!

More re-edits, this time it's the great Left to Die from their show in Manchester a couple of years ago. Hope they will swing by again soon!

What's better on a miserable Sunday afternoon, than reminding yourself of an ace gig! Re-worked a couple of edits from Plaguemace. Not sure what's going on with these guys currently but hopefully they will be back 🤘

Day off and switched computers to something that can actually handle some editing, so decided to re-work some old stuff.
I'll be heading out with Pantheon UK and SIDEWINDER this month. Promise I'll actually update this page with some snaps, as it's been a while! 🤘
