The Dingwall Collective is part of Culture Collective, a national network of participatory arts projects, shaped by local communities alongside artists and creative organisations. Rooted in Dingwall and reaching the wider Seaforth area, The Dingwall Collective will deliver an ambitious cultural programme that empowers local people to shape their cultural life in line with the Dingwall Area Place Plan. The project coincides with two major milestones in 2026: the 40th anniversary of Fèis Rois and the 800th anniversary of Dingwall becoming a Royal Burgh. Dingwall 800

We’ve been working with National Celtic Festival Australia Official since 2013 with over 100 young musicians and 30 professional musicians taking part during our partnership! This year Mischa Macpherson and Amy Henderson have been representing us and it is great to see former Fèis Rois participant Gillie O’Flaherty performing at the festival with his band Astro Bloc during our 40th anniversary year!

THE DINGWALL COLLECTIVE: CREATIVE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS – ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE
We're looking for 3 Artists in Residence – a musician, a writer and an environmental artist - to join The Dingwall Collective!
🕰 Hours: Full-time, including evenings and weekends when required. (Please note that Fèis Rois operates a 4-day week and considers 28 hours per week to be full-time.)
📍 Location: Fèis Rois office, Robertson House, Greenhill Street, Dingwall
💷 Salary: £33,255 – £44,980 per annum, depending on experience.
✨ Holidays: 28 days inclusive of public holiday allowance
📈 Pension: You will contribute 5% of your salary and Fèis Rois will contribute 5%
📆 Term: This is a fixed term contract for 15 months.

📈Pension: You will contribute 5% of your salary and Fèis Rois will contribute 5%
📆 Term: This is a fixed term contract for 18 months

Órla Ní Eadhra is a seamstress from Inverness and is currently studying Performance Costume at the University of Edinburgh. She has been sewing for many years and has a strong interest in sustainable fashion. In 2025 she reached the final of the BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee.
