At last nights Derry City vs Sligo Rovers game in the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium, players of Derry City Football Club collaborated with The Dove House Advocacy Project to support our action to End Violence Against Women. The Advocacy Project is a Triax based project, and we help and support women who have suffered or are suffering Domestic Abuse.
We want to say a massive thank you to the club and players for standing with us to support this action and to remember the 4 women who have been killed in the North of Ireland in the last six weeks due to violence. We would also like to say a massive thank you to Active Embroidery for sponsoring us with these t-shirts and for helping us to make this happen.

So last night, we held our annual End of Season Awards Ceremony in the plush Campsey Suite of the wonderful Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel. This is one of the biggest nights of our season and before we post our photographs, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who made the event such a success.

Firstly, a big thank you to Selina Horshi and everyone at Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel for providing us with a wonderful setting for our awards for the second time running. Unfortunately we didn't manage to get a pic with Selina this time around but rest assured if she has us back next year, she'll first in line to get snapped !!
Thanks also to our special guest for the evening, the incomparable Gareth Wilkinson for his kind words in his opening remarks and for presenting the trophies in such a professional and gentlemanly fashion. Think you have a new fan club now sir !!
Thank you also to our now "almost-official photographer2, the superbly talented Peter McKane who once again turned up at short notice and has provided us with some amazing photographic memories of a brilliant. (Watch this space for pics shortly.)
A special mention to Conor, Denise Ferguson and everyone at our immensely supportive club sponsors Lynch's Eurospar Skeoge for attending our event and for their continued support. Still the best club sponsors in the country bar none.
