The last of the piano timber went to make this , my
First Octave Mandolin .
Here is a short sound clip of the guitar finished .
It once was a piano for over 80years and now lives on as a guitar .

My latest build . Built from the timbers recycled from
An old piano .
Has to be one of the most enjoyable/ rewarding projects that I’ve done .
Lovely to give new life to old timber to continue to make music for many years to come .

A new project starting on Monday . A pair of instruments from reclaimed timber recycled from an old piano !
What will they be ? A bass and a guitar maybe .
Doesn’t look like much right now but let’s see what I come with .

One of my favourite builds .
Olive Ash Tele . The grain and colour in this timber is just beautiful. So many cracks and grain lines had to be filled with clear resin to stabilise it . A beautiful looking and great sounding guitar . Timber was from a fallen tree at Roe Valley country park in Limavady .

Just finished yesterday , built from old Oak floor boards . Chambered oak and poplar body , Alnico 5 Tele components..
Sounds just awesome .

First of the Cherry Les Paul models I . This one had a beautiful figured top .loaded with P90 pickups .
