Jacquie from our Education & Prevention Team had a fab morning with the Women Centre Derry sharing our 'Reduce Your Risk' workshop today.

This hour long session looks at ways to avoid harmful chemicals in our everyday environment and ways to make safer choices.

So many exciting things happening at Hive Cancer Support this week!

We’ve started to roll out our Buzz Roadshow to schools & youth groups across the North West.

Not only will they be some of the first children to meet our Chief Environmental Officer Buzz, but they’ll get a beautiful planter to create a mini bee garden.

Marianne from Team Hive was at the yesterday to host a female cancer awareness session.

A great chance to reconnect with our community colleagues, put faces to names & share our work with some new faces too! 🏳️‍🌈🌈

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Pride Coffee Morning last week at the Macmillan Support Centre, at Altnagelvin Area Hospital 😊

It was wonderful to bring people together to share a cuppa, connect with others who have been impacted by cancer, and engage with health and social care professionals about the work being done to support our communities ☕

Opportunities to come together like this help raise awareness of the unique experiences and challenges LGBTQIA+ people may face when affected by cancer, while creating space for meaningful conversations and shared learning 🏳️‍🌈

We had a fantastic morning and are already looking forward to the next one! A special thank you to the amazing team at the Macmillan Support Centre for helping make the morning such a success 💚
