This autumn, however, fans have a rare opportunity to experience the band in an entirely new light. For this special performance, Danny O’Reilly, Graham Knox, and Conor Egan will bring fans closer than ever before. The unique setlist will feature a blend of:

Brand-new material ahead of their upcoming album campaign
Deep cuts and rarely played songs from their twenty-year journey
Fan favourites and massive hits that defined their career

While The Coronas continue to sell out major venues worldwide, this intimate gig at the Guildhall offers a rare, up-close experience to hear the stories behind the songs and celebrate more than two decades of remarkable music.

Andrew Strong, the unmistakable soul‑and‑rock voice of The Commitments brings his powerhouse vocals to The Guildhall for one night only, delivering the same grit, fire and energy that made him a global name.

At just 16, he became Deco Cuffe in Alan Parker’s cult classic, helping drive a soundtrack that sold over 12 million copies and earned BAFTA, Grammy and Brit Award nominations. Since then, he’s carved out an international career built on raw soul, blues and rock’n’roll at the highest level.

On stage, he’s a force. Backed by a world‑class band, he tears into favourites like Mustang Sally, In the Midnight Hour, Chain of Fools and Try a Little Tenderness, all delivered with his unmistakable signature. The shows are high‑energy, emotional and rooted in connection, groove and serious vocal power.

He’s shared stages with The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Prince, Lenny Kravitz, David Gilmour, ZZ Top and Bryan Adams, If you want a night of authentic soul, rock and pure vocal fire, this is it.

Friday 12th June, Guildhall, Derry
Special Guest: 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻

This is notable, since the Sunshine Superman is not commonly found performing in venues normally reserved for council meetings and wedding fairs.

Audience members can expect songs including 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄, 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝗛𝘂𝗿𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻, and 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱. Despite sounding like items from four entirely different concerts, they will all be performed by the same person.

Doors open at 6.45pm. The show begins at 7:30pm. People will sit. People will stand. Someone will clap at the wrong time. Someone else will confidently announce they “haven’t heard Catch the Wind in years”, delivering this information as though it were restricted access.

And yes, someone will inevitably declare they “preferred his early stuff”. This outcome is unavoidable and should be accepted in advance.

If you wish to witness a living legend while maintaining a perfectly neutral facial expression, this event is ideal.
