Not a sight we wanted see,Katie had to settle for Silver, she gave it everything in there tonight, against the much taller and experienced Irish Champion Clara Keane Connemara. Proud of you Katie , you lost to a very good girl and congratulations to her. Chin up onwards and upwards 👏👏👏

Katie McDonagh goes for Gold later today. She will contest the Girl 3 66kg Final after getting past the semi finals on Friday. A young girl who has come on so much in the past year. Everyone at the club will be wishing her the very best Luck today.

All at Oakleaf Boxing Club are saddened to hear the death of Tommy Stewart a great coach at Raphoe for a long. Tommy coached at Oakleaf for a period and the knowledge our young boxers and coaches gained form Tommys experience was invaluable.
