Happy tenth anniversary of Ordination to Deacon Chris, who was ordained by Bishop Patrick for service in the Diocese of Nottingham in St Barnabas’ Cathedral on the Solemnity of St Barnabas, 11th June 2016! Ad multos annos!

This afternoon Fr Julius began his journey back to Cameroon to spend some time with his family.

My sincere thanks to everyone who gathered to give St Mary’s Church a good old fashioned spring clean this morning! It was great that so many people came together from across the parish to augment the work that the regular teams of cleaners do, and I am very grateful to everyone who works so hard to keep our churches so beautiful!
