Hormones, emotions, friendships, identity, school pressures, executive functioning... and all whilst many of us are navigating our own neurodivergence too. 💛
If you’re finding the teenage years tricky, overwhelming, or just plain confusing, you’re definitely not alone.
Join Grace tomorrow evening for our webinar *Adolescence: Understanding Those Tricky Years*, where she’ll help make sense of what’s happening and share practical ways to support both your young person and yourself.

Have you ever spent hours replaying a conversation in your head?
Wondering if you said the wrong thing.
Whether that text sounded rude.
Why somebody's tone changed.
Why being left on read feels so painful.
For many neurodivergent people, this isn't about being "too sensitive".
It's often linked to Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), where perceived rejection, criticism or failure can feel emotionally overwhelming.
The difficult part is that most people only see the reaction.
They don't see the years of masking.
The people-pleasing.
The constant feeling of getting things wrong.
The exhausting attempts to fit in.
If this carousel made you feel seen, you're not alone. ☀️
We're delighted to be joined by Pete Wharmby for a powerful webinar exploring the difficult truths about RSD, including its impact on self-esteem, relationships, mental health and emotional wellbeing.

This one is hard to hear.
Because whilst it may come from a place of fear or self-protection, the impact can be significant.
When records aren’t accurate, or things are left out, the full picture of a child’s needs gets lost.
And when that happens, support can’t be properly planned, challenged, or improved.
➡️ Good record keeping isn’t about blame.
➡️ It’s about clarity.
➡️ It’s about accountability.
➡️ And most importantly, it’s about the child.
We know schools are navigating complex systems and increasing pressure.
But if we don’t talk about this, it doesn’t change.

Then suddenly… everything changed.
Extreme anxiety.
Food struggles.
Tics.
Rage.
OCD behaviours.
School difficulties.
And deep down, you know something isn’t right.
But when professionals don’t always recognise PANS/PANDAS, many parents are left feeling dismissed, confused, and frightened.
This webinar will help you understand what PANS/PANDAS can actually look like, the impact it can have, and what approaches may help moving forward.
Because you know your child better than anyone.

This session will help you better understand parental burnout, why it happens, and how to begin supporting yourself whilst supporting your child.
Because you matter too.
Last week was our Supporting Neurodivergence Summit and honestly… what a week 💛
The learning was incredible.
From autism, ADHD and PDA through to DLD, trauma, workplace rights and so much more, there were so many moments where people said, “I never knew that!” or “That explains so much.”
One of the best parts was seeing people ask questions, support each other and connect inside our Sunshine Academy community.
But if life got in the way, please don’t worry.
We know how busy and overwhelming life can be, especially when you’re juggling children, work, appointments and everything else that comes with it.
That’s exactly why every session was recorded.
