Having idolized F1 greats and the legends of the BTCC's Super Touring era in the 1990's, I've finally got myself on track racing competitively.
Here you'll find news and updates as I progress in my motorsports career in this season and beyond. Having grown up watching the likes of Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell and the BTCC Super Touring era in the 1990's I've always had a huge passion for motorsport and like many a youngster I dreamed of being a racing driver. Now many years later and still young at heart I have finally made that dream a re
When you spot a friend you met while racing in Focus Cup in 2025, now racing GT cars in 2026.
Well done mate, great result on debut 😎🥉.

Hello race fans...
Once again the mythical race week is upon us and this is the final round of the Focus Cup Championship 2025 season and what a season it has been. There have been thrills, spills and proper heart in the mouth action as the year unfolded.
We find ourselves back where it all began at Donington Park and as a special announcement we're doing the GP layout again rather than the National Circuit. Having never raced at Donington Park this will be another huge learning curve for me.
I'm heading into the final with the aim of finishing strong and gathering as much points as possible and at least be aiming to finish within the top 10 of the Am championship, that would be a good end to the Focus Cup season for me.
Once again you can watch the action live or on playback over at the Focus Cup Racing Youtube channel:

With bragging rights over championship rivals at stake this one is going to a raceday you don't want to miss...
See you there.

Brands Hatch Indy - You wait all this time and suddenly...
Qually:
With brand new brake pads I had to take it a bit easy and give time for them to bed in so I wasn't really pushing too hard before hadning over the car to my team mate. Managed a 1:01 so not too bad but the car is much quicker.
The race:
I knew coming into this event that being an endurance race it was all about stratergy and tyre mamangement. This was also the first time I'd ever undertaken a rolling start, which was quite an interesting experience and I reacted brilliantly, finding gaps and making up a few places. I had managed to pull ahead of my class rival, a blue and black Mini and as the field began to spread out we soon found ourselves in a cracking battle for 3rd place in class. I eventually lost sight of the Mini but carrried on not wanting to drive in my mirrors too much.
A couple of safety cars slowed everything down with one long period in particular as the marshalls and recovery team dealt with the stricken car at the side of the track just off Graham Hill bend. I didn't know how long I'd been out for but I pressed on until I caught sight of the tem pit board telling me to pit. After pitting and switching drivers I was told that my stint was just over 1 hour 10 minutes in total which I couldn't believe. Wow! My team mate Mark took over the reings for the remainder of the race and put in a cracking shift, bringin the car home right alongside the sister car at the finish line.
It wasn't until after my stint I had realised that the Mini had retired and we had secured an outright class podium finishing 3rd!! Result!! 😍😍😍.
In conclusion:
Really proud of myself for be able to put in a long stint under race conditions. I earned new PB round Brands Indy at 59.027 (over seven 10ths quicker than my previous PB and almost in the 58's) and I'm really chuffed to earn my first podium in almost 2 years after getting so close a few times in 2024.
Massive thanks to the team for putting together such a cracking car and to my team mates for such a stellar driver
I'm back out again this weekend up at Croft in the Focus Cup Championship.
See you there...

Hello race fans...
It's upon us once again, race week, and on Saturday, August 16th, I am back piloting the Puretrack Racing Clio RS200 in the BRSCC Supersport Endurance Championship. This time, we're heading to Brands Hatch in Kent on the Indy circuit, a track I know very well, having tested there earlier this year and racing back in 2023.
So after a bitterly disappointing start to the 2025 championship campaign and budgetry issues, I am eager to return to the team and prove that I can be competitive in endurance racing.
The race action will be livestreamed on the BRSCC youtube channel, or you can watch it on playback any time after the event:

Really looking forward to this one, see you there...

!!RACE REPORT!!
Oulton Park International - The temperature sure felt international and the curse of the reverse continues...
Qually:
I had to swtich cars and didn't get any testing in beforehand so was out learning the circuit as I went, my times weren't great but I knew I had more in me and the car. Unfortunately a red flag brought qualifying to a premature end after only 2 timed laps.
Race 1:
After starting P14 in Class I attempted to carve through the pack on the start but with how narrow Oulton is it proved to be very difficult. Some fluid got dropped on the track causing chaos at Knickerbrook chicane for the class 2 pack. I had a big lock-up and sailed through the escape road costing me time and a chance to keep up with the pack. I found myself on my own for much of the race only gaining a position after a car spun off at Cascades towards the end of the race. P13 in Class finish.
Race 2:
The reverse grid has not been kind to me this season and I missed out on being pushed forward getting sent to the very back only 1 place infront of a non finisher from race 1. After a poor start I found myself stuck behind a car for a good chunk of the race unable to get by. Fortunately another driver had a spin off Cascades, rejoining behind me and knowing how quick they were I allowed them to pass me and used their overtaking move on the car infront as an opportunity to follow as the door was left open just long enough for me to squeeze through as well. I wasn't able to keep up with them to reach the pack but I made good ground. Another P13 result.
In conclusion:
Brought the car home and bagged decent points. The high temperature really took its toll on the cars, the drivers and the team. I would love another crack at Oulton Park as I feel I could do much better there.
With the summer break now in full effect the Focus Cup Championship will resume August bank holiday weekend at Croft.
See you there...
