Richie Williams Charity Tennis Day ❤️🎾

It was so lovely to have Becky back at the club, despite the sad circumstances.

The courts were full of energy and enjoyment, just as Richie would have liked!

We are deeply saddened to share the news that Richie Williams passed away last week following a short illness.

Richie was one of life’s truly kind souls — the nicest, most encouraging man you could ever hope to meet. He always had time for everyone, offering support, positivity and a warm smile whenever it was needed. His presence lifted people, and his kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Richie seemed to be able to remember everyone’s name who he came into contact with.

He will be greatly missed by all at Repton Tennis & Rackets club.

Our thoughts, love and deepest condolences are with his daughter Becky, wife Kim, and all of Richie’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Richie ❤️

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Repton Tennis & Rackets Club has been named Club of the Year at this year’s Derbyshire Tennis Awards 🤩🏆

This fantastic achievement is a true team effort. Huge congratulations and thanks to everyone involved — the committee, volunteers, captains and coaches — and especially to every member who represents the club with such pride, both on and off the court 👏

We also had some incredible individual successes within the club…

James Rushby was awarded the Performance Coach of the Year award 🤩

Eisha C was awarded U18 Girls Player of the Year 🥇
