On Tuesday evening, we welcomed Governors and Leaders to our latest LGT Forum.
With temperatures remaining exceptionally high, we made the decision to move the event online. At Embark, the wellbeing of our staff, governors, trustees and wider community will always be our top priority, and we're grateful for the positive feedback we've received following the change.
The forum provided an opportunity to hear updates from our Trust Leader, receive governance updates from our Governance Team, and gain valuable insights into our financial position and future plans from our Finance Team.
Thank you to everyone who joined us virtually and contributed to what was a fantastic evening of collaboration and shared learning across the Embark family.

💃✨ What. A. Day. ✨💃
Over 250 young people came together for the Embark Dance Festival 2026, celebrating talent, creativity, confidence and community through the power of dance.
From contemporary and street dance to musical theatre, solos, duets and group performances, the energy and passion on display were incredible. 🌟
This year's festival was made even more special with performances and workshops from professional dancers and choreographers Maddie Brooks-Brown, Ellie Kingsley and Matt Wesley, alongside fantastic hosting from Kristian Cunningham of KTCo.
A huge thank you to our teachers, support staff, guest judges, Embark Trustee Theresa Peltier, and our generous sponsors Burhouse Construction for helping make the day possible.
Most importantly, congratulations to every young person who stepped onto the stage. Whether it was your first performance or your third Dance Festival, you made the day unforgettable. ❤️
If we could bottle the positivity, encouragement and joy from the room, we would.
Already counting down to Dance Festival 2027! 🎉

Whether your expertise lies in education, finance, business, legal services, HR, estates, digital technology or another professional field, becoming a trustee is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while contributing your skills to a values driven organisation.
