Wow, its been over a year since we updated our status! Time flies when you're in the thick of it. We've been expanding our involvement in digital TV, and started work in the rail transportation in the intervening time. Its been a busy time for us. Better yet, it looks set to get busier. A brilliant problem to have in these times.

Having worked with Embedded Linux for many years now, we've noticed that it is still very much a collection of quite seperate applications. If you want to tailor Linux to your own needs it invariably requires lots of files to be played with. In an effort to simplify this process for our users we're developing an interface that allows a Linux system to be configured using just a single file - it will make customisation much simpler for those of us neediing to download a single configuration file to change different network settings, or firewall rules, or screen configurations, or... need I go on?

OK, back in the office. It still seems very quiet. I think there's still a bit of shell shock. Clearly we're not used to holidays! It will be good to get working again. We're looking forward to the new adventures that 2012 will bring.

All tests carried out and passed - it seems we are good! Best news, is that there are components of third party systems which failed which means we may need to do it all again. Never mind - its all good for the bottom line.

All is go for final integrated system tests - due to start on Monday. Now we'll really find out how good we are!
