And a wonderful New Year!! 🎊

And before our holiday break, we had lots of Halloween fun! 👻

We enjoyed

✂️ Crafting, promoting fine motor skills, but also curiosity and fun with the "bubble paint"
♥️ Talking about emotions with the colour monsters
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Played games, promoting taking turns and listening to instructions
👐 Sensory trays, especially with the slimy spaghetti, which prompted lots of talking and feeling different textures
🌳 Outdoor fun, when we went pumpkin picking and the play barn

But most of all, we had lots of fun together 🤩

Today we've said goodbye to our very first little baby BumbleBee!!
So many memories to treasure!! It has been such a pleasure being part of your life and thank you to the parents for the trust!! It has been a privilege seeing you grow into such an amazing little girl, from the very first steps to having such great conversations together!

Good luck!! You will be missed so so much!!

How much we love Autumn as there is so much to do!! We have..

🍁 Explored, found, matched through our autumn scavenger hunt in hour local park!
🔢 Maths with lots of counting, comparing, measuring, but also exploring gravity and guessing.
💬 Speech and language with lots of new words for some or expanded for others. But also spoke about opposites or used lots of different adjectives
👐 Fine motor skills from the baby hands picking the first things with their finger to preschoolers confidently using scissors ✂️
🏃Gross motor skills

🥳 But most of all.. lots of fun all together with simple things!

We had so much fun picking tomatoes (thanks to our friend for letting us pick her tomatoes!!!)

We all used a variety of skills during our tomato picking activity and we enjoyed a yummy "pizza" as a reward!

We used..

👐 motor skills: from picking with our fingers and putting in a bowl, pullin, using scissors, squashing and using tools (like a potato masher) to make pizza and using a spoon to take some sauce and spread it on brown bread. Using our fingers to pick the grated cheddar cheese and sprinkled on the pizza.
💬 speech and language: learned or heard new vocabulary like squash, tomatoes.. or more advanced vocabulary for the older children like sieving, boiling, seeds. We had lots of talk throughout the activity talking about healthy eating, differences between fruit and vegetables and likes and dislikes, all children led and expanded with an adult.
♥️ PSD, we took turns, listened to each other without interrupting and listened to instructions.
🌳 The natural world

Yesterday we said goodbye to one of our first graduated BumbleBee!!

We wish you all the best and an amazing start for your new adventure at "Big School"!!

We will miss you a lot!

What an amazing year where we all grew, learned from each other and had so much laughter and fun!!

We've been such busy bees!! So many things we have learned through play and achieved but most important lots of fun together!! 🤗

I'm so so proud of this little ones, it is such a joy been able to be with you and see you grow!! 😍
