Please pick up a leaflet next time you're in the library.

A big thank you to Balsall Common Lions Club for donating a wonderful selection of children’s books.

Helping Young Readers Care for Our Planet

Lion June Glynn recently visited Balsall Common Library to deliver a set of Wild Tribe Heroes books, where she was welcomed by Library Manager Amanda Jones.

These beautifully illustrated children’s stories introduce important environmental issues in a gentle and engaging way. Through memorable animal characters and real-world themes, the books help young readers learn about topics such as litter, plastic pollution, wildlife protection and caring for our natural world.

We are delighted to support local children with books that encourage reading while inspiring the next generation to make a positive difference to the environment.

We hope the stories will be enjoyed by many families visiting the library.
