SWIMMING LESSONS: CANCELLED

Please note: All swimming lessons are cancelled this weekend due to pool fault.

We had a lovely afternoon with some of our Early Years Families at Copeswood Miniature Railway as part of their Joan’s Day!

A huge thank you to Copeswood Miniature Railway for the invitation to their annual Joan’s Day where their volunteers provide 2 days of access for local SEND schools and community groups! 🚂

Coventry HAF Summer Bookings:

Families who are eligible for Coventry HAF will have the opportunity to book Summer sessions on Thursday 18th of June at 4pm.

Bookings will be processed through EEQU with a direct booking link available via our website.

Stay and Play & Exclusive Swimming sessions are available but very limited. We encourage families to book as soon as possible to ensure you do not miss out.

If you are unsure if you are eligible, please create an account on EEQU and Coventry City Councils HAF team will run an eligiblity check.

Our PMLD & Complex Needs Stay & Play group started today at Wood Side Family Hub and it was lovely to be joined by 3 families who all got quite messy and enjoyed time in the sensory room!

We had lots of switch adapted activities - including a very well loved foot spa 😍

These sessions are running every Monday for the next 3 weeks, We would love you to join us!

If you are looking for activities during Term Time for you and your SEND child... we have plenty on offer!

From our Home Ed & Early Years Groups, to a variety of Forest School sessions, and Afterschool Activities, there are sessions available Monday through Thursday!

All sessions are SEND exclusive and session capacities lowered - a diagnosis is not required to attend sessions.

Our EVOLVE Dance group this evening bought the moves and the style 👓

We are so proud of the work our dancers put in each week, from being dinosaurs to exploring different musical genres, and posing! 🪩

Volunteer with us this Summer!

We are looking for volunteers to support our Summer Provision! With positions available at both our Stay and Play sessions & our Forest School site, there are opportunities for everyone!

Whether you're good at making tea & coffee, a pro at biscuit decorating, can pretend to be a good ballpit monster or are happy to get covered in shaving foam and water, Volunteering at our Stay and Play sessions are perfect for you!

Or maybe your good at finding bugs, helping build incredible dens or ready to balance across a questionable obstacle course? If you answered yes, then our Forest School sessions would be a great fit!

You may have seen this morning that we're in the local paper! 📰

Over the past year, we have been generously supported by Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children and the Dorothy Pamela Trust CIO through their donation of 86 pieces of specialist equipment.

They visited us during the May Half term and carried out lots of interviews with staff, parents and children to emphasise the impact of accessible play spaces locally.

PMLD Stay and Play Group - Monday 12:15pm - 2:15pm 🐞

We are pleased to be trailing a new Term Time Stay and Play group for families who have children with:
- Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
- Complex medical needs
- Limited Mobility

These sessions will be running for a 4 week trial from Monday 15th of June to Monday 6th of July, They will be hosted from Wood Side Family, Willenhall, CV3 3GL
