Starting somewhere new can take time.

Maisie is in her first year at MacIntyre No Limits in Nuneaton. With the people around her getting to know what matters most to her, she's finding her feet, building confidence and settling into her own routine.

He only needs to be shown something once. Then he’s got it.

That’s how Nilash works.

Give him a process, and he’ll follow it: carefully, methodically, making sure everything is exactly where it should be. Which is why the local foodbank in Nuneaton turned out to be a perfect fit.

After meeting the team and getting started, Nilash quickly found his rhythm.

- Unpacking donations.
- Dating items clearly.
- Sorting everything into the right place — pasta, tins, chocolate.

It’s detailed work. The kind where things can easily go wrong. Nilash makes sure they don’t.

He’s also taken on recycling, making sure everything is handled properly, and getting to know the other volunteers along the way.

The team have noticed.

They trust him to get things right, and they’re grateful for the care he puts into every task.

For Nilash, it’s more than volunteering, it’s a step towards what he really wants: a job where his attention to detail and organisation make a difference every day.

And he’s already proving he can do exactly that.
