'A time of peace' CD

One of the things that I love doing is writing songs, it is so inspiring to create something out of nothing, even if not that many people are aware of the songs that I write. (thankfully, a few do!)

I'm also very thankful to know Mick Bisiker, who I not only played music with for many happy years, as a duo and in Rack and Ruin, but has recorded and played on many of the songs that I've written.
Mick offered to record 'Coventry Kid' in 2021/22, in between Covid lockdowns for me, a collection of songs about Coventry, after I was rejected by the City of Culture a few years ago when I approached them with the idea of 'Coventry Kid'.

Mick and I then recorded 'Freedom Road' and 'Seasons, rituals and rites' and we've just made another CD together, 'A time of peace'.
The recording features songs on many subjects including getting older (a subject close to my heart!), the passing of time, trees (another love of mine), friendships, anti-war songs and people who start wars (guess who?)

A big thank you to all who have contributed to my recording endeavors over the years (you know who you are), especially to Mick ,who has given me the opportunity to record my songs and also to Bobby Brooker, who recorded my first Two CD's, 'Cosmic Rhymes' and 'Destiny'.

Hi, this is the cover of my new CD 'Season's, Rituals and Rites' which now available at the Coventry HMV store. It has self-penned songs and a couple of traditional songs and tunes relating to the changing seasons and other themes.
